I believe teaching music should be overall enjoyable but always with a purpose. Fostering organic and integral musicianship has to always be the main focus of each lesson, taking precedent over technical non musical exercises or activities. I draw from Suzuki method with intensive and extensive listening and from Dalcroze, in order to incorporate the music in the body so that you can carry it everywhere you go. I also use improvisation to solidify basic foundation such as rhythm and pitch by singing back and forward with the student.
